According to the list that Otis Bartholomew put together from the 1998 AERC
Yearbook, Rushcreek Lad is the all-time mileage leader with 18,215 miles.
Bandit is second with 16,525.  Dr Thunder Bask is 3rd with 13,805 miles at
the end of 1998.  As of last year, there were 97 horses with at least 5000
AERC miles.  The list was in the Endurance news earlier this year.

Karen Steenhof (11,000+ miles) and Ambers Thorn (7,000+ miles and counting)
Both of whom enjoyed the awesome moon night with 5 others in the foothills
north of Eagle, Idaho
