Thinking,Christmas

Howdy RC'rs. As many others have said before me, The
Horses and I would like to wish all of you the
Merriest of a Christmas, and all the luck and
Happiness in the New Year. Peace be with you.

Lately I've been doing a lot of thinking, and this
comes best when I'm up in the hills on my horse, or
going for a run w/ Red, my heeler. I've learned so
much in just the few months that I've been subscribed
on ridecamp, about horses, people, and health. I'd
like to thank all of you for all the stories, advice,
comments, and contributions you have made to ridecamp.
Its something, I think, all of us enjoy and would hate
to see go.

Oh, almost forgot: Great News!! We aren't flooding for
Christmas. The whole week, its been a little cold, but
just gorgeous, sun shining. Perfect weather to get out
on the road and run!! Dog and I both need exercise :)
Sadley, yesterday after Thunder and I got back from a
ride, I came to the conclusion that with his
personality, he is just not fit to do an endurance
ride now, maybe never. His unpredicable behavior could
injure me, him, or another horse and rider. I won't
let that happen. So, I'm enjoying all the time we
spend to together on the trail, the challenges we
provide for each other, and the companionship. For
now, we'll take what offerings come with open arms.
