A Liability Question
Last Thursday night my horse's got out and on the road by my place. My horse
got hit by a car and killed.
I didn't find him until the next morning, the Sheriff report didn't come in
until 10 in the morning. The horse wandered into a vacant pasture and stood
there until he died. His right front leg was shattered. When I finally
tracked him he was still warm but...
I am asking if anyone knows of liability issues in the state of Colorado.
There was apparently a report of horses on the road called into the Sheriff
before the accident. After the accident, no one went after the horse to
secure him or to get medical treatment for the animal.
Any information would be helpful
thanks
