At the Far Out Forest the first check (for the 100) is at 30 miles, you fly
by the 16 mile check which is used for the 50's. At the OD the first is 25
again you fly by at the 12 mile check at the river. BUT you can still stop
at these points, take 15 minutes to feed and water a bit and electrolyte.
That is what I normally do and I find especially at about 80 miles that 15
minutes "wasted" in the morning was time well spent.
