Re: RC: Garlic
Celeste,
I got some garlic powder additive as a freeby when I bought some joint
supplement a few yrs ago. The horses wouldn't touch it. Would not eat the
grain if I put the garlic powder on it. Normally they love their grain, but
as they are on lush pasture in the summer, they don't really need much grain
and aren't really hungry. If the horse is more dependent on grain as a
source of feed (and is given more of it so there's more grain relative to the
garlic powder), perhaps the horse would eat it.
Don't know if it works as I couldn't get it in the horses!!
