A beagle on the scent of a rabbit may not be "running away", but he'll be
just as dead if he gets out in the street.
And if you don't believe a beagle would stray just because he smells a
rabbit, then you've never met a real beagle.
Well I have met a real dalmation and they stray too and it does not even
have to be a rabbit they will follow a breadroll down the road! :-)
I did not mean to offend the owners of well cared for loved dogs that stray
because of rabbits smells etc. The original topics where about loose dogs
roaming the streets (not chasing rabbits etc in the streets) and then
attacking riders!
Celeste (from South Africa)
Chad (I have a dog too!)
5 Dalmations (hey guys smell that? lets go see!!!)
Mawlud (I smell it too! whats the fuss about!)
Shadixx (I got spots mom......and I don't chase smells!)
