New Baby...Need Input!
Debbie Zanot darkcat5@yahoo.com
It must be the menopause "crazies" but I bought
a 7 mo. baby. Lovely Egyptian colt. He is soooooo
CUTE! Alas, it has been years since I have had a baby
and I used to throw them in pasture and wait 5 years,
but I would like to have fun with this guy and keep him
a stallion til I see what her grows up to be ...So
all you experts I need your input. I would like to pony
him but I don't want to over do anything. What is a good
distance for a young guy like this...and what is the
ideal age to train him under harness pulling a light
jog cart????
What about letting him run with 2 of my gentle geldings
that aren't agressive or mean?? I see so many endurance
stallions that are so well behaved at rides. Is it just
work that makes them like this or is there some fabulous
training trick I will need to know?
When I think of well behaved I think of Zane Grey..are
you out there Eric? This little guy seems to be very quiet
and calm and a people horse.
Is this a good Christmas present or what!!!
Happy in PA.
