Tom:  Just thinking aloud.....Seems that the horses that are able to go go 
go, full out and win a fast 50 or 100 are usually not running out of 
gas.  Or if they are, they aren't letting it slow them down any.  Could it 
be that if somebody is seeing a roller coaster effect while using the carbs 
their horse isn't really ready to be going that fast? (assuming they are 
racing)

How much elevation gain?  What was the pulse criteria requirement?  How do 
they judge for Best Condition?  How many vets checks did they have and how 
long were the holds?  This was 110KM (68 miles), correct?

How are you preparing it?   What did you do, if anything, post ride?
