Re: tie ups and carbs
My 1/2 arab/appaloosa mare ties up on alfalfa. Took me awhile and some
detective work to figure it out. She even tied up showing heat to a gelding
next to her. (that was embarassing and frightening). She had been on
alfalfa her entire life. She is the reason I became interested in proper
nutrition for equines. Havent fed the stuff in over 9 years. Well, except
for a little in a forage mix hay. Can we hear a little more on the evils of
the alfalfa diet??? Thanks. gesa n clovis
