I did it!
I just received notice in the mail today that I passed my ARICP tests (with
some very good grades <bg>) and I'm now a certified riding
instructor...Recreational Riding L2 and Dressage L1.
The Level 1 and Level 2 tests for both RR and Dressage were lumped into one
test for each division (with minimum passing scores for each division) and
I actually got a half point higher score on my dressage test so I will
definitely go for my L2 in Dressage next round. If you request to test for
anything higher than a L1 in any discipline, you have to send in a video
showing your teaching at that level. I got great comments on my RR video
so this gives me more confidence in trying for the L2 in Dressage in the
near future.
What a great Christmas present!!
