Or a Jack Russel Terrier. A few days ago I had to crawl half way into a
skunk den to pull him out. He once got stuck in an irrigation pipe and I had
to break it open with a pick axe to get him out. (Mental note: turn OFF the
water BEFORE applying pick axe). Then there was the time he got stuck under
the barn (I rearranged the grain tubs so that my husband won't see the hole I
chopped in the floor in the course of the "rescue"). When he's on the scent,
he will not quit. Goes completely deaf and gets himself into some pretty
tricky pickles. He is a very well-loved and well cared for dog, he just
can't seem to help himself. I'm pretty tired of de-skunking him though
(phew!). I can't imagine what would happen to him if we allowed him to run
loose!! :O
