Could be. And if so, "body condition" is a misnomer. The observation should
be called "the flab test". I measure body condition as non-ripped lean muscle
mass. "Ripped" refers to the condition Arnold Schwartzenegger finds himself
in just as he goes on stage in a body building competition. All year he has
been pumping iron and looking more like a Russioan Olympic weight lifter. But
a month to six week prior to the beauty contest, he stops eating and
continues to exercise, burning both muscle and fat so that there is no fat at
all under his skin--his muscles stand out like cables. However, at that
point, he's the weakest he's been all year--and ketotic.
