re:Changing Horses Altitude

Can anyone tell me how to go about taking care of a horses needs that is 
changing, and I mean a big change, altitude from say 7,8 thousand feet to 300 
feet?  I guess one thing would be a body clip although my horses here have 
grown quite a coat this year and with the temps. being almost 80 degrees 
everyday.  Any help would be appreciated.
