hooves
Hi everyone!
My 6 year old mare is not being ridden- I am 9 months pregenant! Anyway, I
have her on Strategy, 3/4 scoop and 1/2 # of beet pulp two times per day.
I clean her stall and her hooves daily. The last few days I have noticed
that her coronary band on her hooves is getting more pronounced. It is not
soft, but she now has a white stripe about 1/2 inch above her hooves.
This is not normal for her. (although i have only had her for about 5
months) Does this happen sometimes, or what can I do? Is she okay?
Thank you,
Sonya
