That HAS to be a law on the level of Murphy's Law, or certainly a corollary
to it! And you explained the applications so well! I have experienced it
first hand, with my yearling (not yet gelded) colt being turned in with my
mare in late November. Eleven months later, the foal I didn't need
magically appeared.
Do we need to compile some of these laws so that we can all understand how
this horse-ownership works? After all, we don't want to be caught by
surprise, and we have all agreed how helpful this list is, sharing insights,
"oldbies" helping "newbies", and so on.
