Barn cats
I live in a Hanta Virus area and the cats are good insurance against me
having to handle mouse mussed up things. That is their job and on 120 acres
way out in the country if your cats stay in the house you have a barn full of
mice and hay that looks like swiss cheese. Some of my barn cats have lived
to ripe old ages. True Delilah has lost a leg and is now a house cat because
some jack asses used her for target practice on my property and she now
carries the remains of two other slugs and has a notched ear. She was 11
when that happened. I always have at least one resident house kitten in
training and all eight are fixed, we do not breed cats. However in cities
they should probably be house cats cause there are lots of strange people out
there. Lovell
