The Crandell's long-ago horse you were thinking of may have been Magic
Aquarius. He won the OD two times (or was it three times?). He was
three-quarter Arab, one-quarter Welsh (I think, hand me the
ginkgo)...last I heard, he was enjoying his retirement at Pete Wilson's
place at the base of the Old Dominion trail on Harmony Hollow. Could be
wrong about that too -- any ODers out there who can confirm or correct this?

On second thought, maybe you are thinking of Diamond T -- known as
Teaser. Linda Crandell won the OD on this guy before he was sold to
Rodger and Amy Ford. Another great horse. The Crandells have raised and
ridden a lot of good ones over the years... GT Grisha, Bold Soldier,
Hybrid Vigor (Moyle/Arab cross, two-time OD winner and BC/OD Trophy)
and, of course, Linda's current horse, LR Forgeym. I wonder which one
made the World list? (Guess I'll have to subscribe, too!)
