Tree Top Ride

Has anyone heard of the "Tree Top Ride"? I heard there is some doubts this
ride has existed. I don't think it was endurance, but perhaps a competitive
ride?

On the gossip side, there is doubt that a performance requirement was not
ment for a certian national champion, concerning this very ride.

Anyone have any info?
