I have to add my say... as someone who can actually touch her toes
underneath her horse's belly!
I think it also depends on what you're used to. The cowboys ride on
little quarters and prefer them for some events (for quickness/agility).
They never comment about how big I am on my little guys, but when I take
dressage lessons and am the largest person on the smallest horse, then
they ask questions/look sideways.
