Well I don't know about commonly forgetting, but the one thing I became
most paranoid about remembering to pack is my saddle, since I did forget
it one time!  I didn't discover my goof till I was AT the ride and home
was 4 1/2 hours away.  Thank goodness I decided to assemble all my
equipment & go for a quick ride the evening before the start.  Thank
goodness there's lots of riders who bring 2 saddles to a ride!  Lif
