When I advertise a 15 hand horse, I say, He's what everybody calls
15.2...but with a stick he's 15 hands. They usually agree with me when
they get here, that he's what they thought of as 15.2 On the average
everybody calls their horse 2" taller than he is...except the 14.3
people, they're usually telling the truth. Arab people are the only
breed I've seen willing to admit a horse is 14.something.
