Re: blanket advice
Heidi, I bought a lightweight blanket from Stateline Tack about 1 1/2 years
ago that I really like. I had the same problem with blankets always being to
wide at the neck, but this one fits nicely without restricting movement. It's
called the Rug-ED Mountain Cool Weather Sheet with Fleece Liner and I paid
$50 plus shipping. It's water-resistant but leightweight, and I like the
fleecy inside cuz it's warm but not bulky. Perfect for cold winter nights in
the California desert. Got a size 74 for my 14.2h guys. Only drawback: the
outer nylon shell is pretty thin and not meant for "excessive" outdoor
activity, like rub-butt-on-oak-tree....<g>. But if you're just gonna use it
in camp, it'll work well.
Happy trails, Kirsten.
