Re: RC: Re: Liberty Run with the kid: Part DONE
Good Post, Louise.
I have seen many unbelievable juniors at endurance races/rides, capable
of competing in fifties or hundreds without a sponsor due to their own
horsemanship and many lessons learned from riding and learning about horses
and what it takes to "compete" effectively with compassion for their mounts.
Like life, sometimes more can be learned by "failing" (for lack of a
better term) than from having things "massaged" by (I'm certain) "caring"
adults.
"Prudence," until one truly understands "endurance," and all it entails,
is a good place to start to fill one's "endurance library" with lessons
learned.
Frank.
