I am ashamed to admit that originally I thought this "wuffing" business
meant he needed to cough or something.  It was after several rides at a
consistent lope that I realized he was comfortable and relaxed and perhaps
"needed" to wuff!  I had never ridden a horse at a sustained lope (as in
miles or even several minutes at a time!) before...my daddy always told me
not to run the horses too hard!  But I have learned so much from endurance
and my horse the last couple of years....I like to hear the wuffing now and
it makes ME relaxed, too!
