Yeah, we are still trying to figure it out. She says no trees in the
pasture (though I suggested leaves could BLOW into it) but there are shrubs
and bushes....doesn't know what kind.  She says now he really wasn't
"colicky" and was still eating the night before he died.  She doesn't know
if he was drinking or not...she had filled his trough a couple of days
before.  She wasn't much help and they didn't do an autopsy.  It's too bad
the local vets wouldn't come out.  I guess the urine was almost black by
Saturday night.  And to get the story straight...the first vet didn't tell
her to put him on antibiotics.  HIS WIFE did!  Oh man, does that make me
want to spit!!  She said she would ask the vet, they never returned the
call, the client called again and the wife said, well, she was sure it was
just a kidney infection and to come get the stuff for the shots.  The
kicker is that this vet is 3 miles from their house.  Really sad.
