To heck with that. When I ride OR walk, I stay on the side that offers
the most safety. My road has hills and curves and I do not want somebody
topping that hill going fast with me just over it. I also ride on the
side that offers the best shoulder. I cross my road four or five times
in one mile just choosing the side I feel is optimal.
