Re: Safety from man
I always carry my cell phone...gets better reception in the desert than in
town, too. Only problem is that occasionally when we are doing a serious
training loop like this morning, 14 km at a good canter, for some reason
everyone and his brother decides to call me. Doesn't bother Dory. She keeps
cantering and I usually tell them to call back in an hour or so. Sometimes
the voice on the other end does sound a little puzzled...and then a lot
confused when I tell them why there's a whistling wind and I sound a little
breathless. But the thought is always there that I can call the club if I
have to.
