A GPS unit will also let you know how fast you are going and how far you've
gone. GPS is a global positioning system. They are battery powered and can
be slipped down inside your cantle or pommel bag. They can also let you
know the distance between your present position and one that you wish to
get to. Wal Mart sports dept. and Big 5, and most of the sporting goods
stores handle them. They can run from appx. $100.00 to $400.00 The GPS
units do a whole lot more than what I just said they can, its just that I
havent figured it all out yet. Takes a little getting used to. The MPH and
