Featherlites/Excelsors
Got a trailer question. My brother called late last night and said he's
debating between a Featherlite and something *maybe* called Excelsor? (I
was sleepy) The story is that the people who owned Featherlite sold it,
and then had a 5 year "no compete" deal and now the 5 years is up and
they've started making the Excelsor (or whatever). The prices are
virtually identical.
The Excelsor had microscopically thicker aluminum. It also has 3/4" foam
insulation in the box. However, resale may not be quite as good with the
less known name.
Anybody own one? Anybody got anything to say about the insulation? Any
chance of water damage in that? (the roof is aluminum too)
Why are Sundowners $2,000 more than either?
Angie (still in the rusty 2 horse, but maybe hitchhiking soon. :-)
