RE: Cleaning Horse Blankets
Ok, going back to the 60's when I lived in Panama and mildew was a way of
life...Try soaking the blanket for several hours in a muck tub with strong
bleach (check the Clorox label for dilution) and borax. You're gonna lose
some color. Then hang it on a fence, hose it thoroughly to rinse off the
stuff. Leave it out in the sun to dry. That should make it bearable
anyway!
