I would have thought thatthe competition horse would soon overcome such
obstacles as changes in diet, water, resting quarters, etc., through training
and experience, but, if horses that have made it all the way to the FEI-PAC
level still had this type of problem then I am puzzled.
Is there any post-race evaluation in the process? I think you are on the
right track in believing that we could all learn something here.
Some of you really veteran riders out there, can you tell me how changes in
rider procedure developed and information has evolved? Was it just passed
around from rider to rider? Maybe a few magazine articles? Ridecamp has not
always been around!
