yes, my feet killed me in the patriot saddle and all saddles that did not
have
a knee or thigh block.  I found the patriot very uncomfortable (do you ride
English or western usually??)  If the patriot fit your horse and he liked
it, then
just about any OF will fit him - so now that your horse likes OF then find
one that
works for your body.  Last week I posted a long note on OF fits and body
style
types. Try an OF with knee or thigh blocks, I don't think your feet will
hurt as
much.

Also I found the stirrups hurt me as well, I prefer the cloud stirrups over
any of the
OF styles.  I know allot of OF users lover the OF stirrups, but I really
hated them,
with in 5 minuets of just walking my horse down the street, my feet were
killing me.
