Is there enought elbow clearance over the girth?  I recently switched to the 
biothane girth for the SR Saddle with a fleece cover.  Now my gelding will 
trot out more with out breaking in to a canter - I knew his elbows were 
bumping the old girth (which is why I switched), but I didn't realize how 
much it was affecting him.
