daily wormer for endurance horses

Has anyone heard any negative comments about using Strongic 2cX, a
daily wormer, for endurance horses?  Preventive Care, from strongid
offers a colic surgery insurance that will give you up to $5000 towards
colic surgery if your horse colics while on this stuff.  You must
buy it from your vet and have regular yearly shots ????? Nancy
