any kind of leg protection. Never say never right?
My gelding has a dime-sized sore slightly inside on the rear of his
front fetlock. I believe it happened when we encountered some bog with
sticks in it.
The problem is that every time I ride him he is knocking the scab off. I
have a 50 to do on Saturday, and I would like some advice on what I can
put on his fetlock that will protect the sore without aggravating the
problem. BTW, I'm sure he's knocking it with the other front foot.
Thanks,

Consider a "run down patch". These are available at tack stores that sell to
racetrack clientele. It's a tough plastic stick-on. Don't know how long it
will stick on a wet horse, though. Worth a try. Of course, it might be
classified as a drug by the AERC.
