The way I keep Vetrap in place on lower legs is to wrap it halfway down the 
hoof and then use duct tape to tape it to the hoof.  Stays put just dandy 
that way.  I still prefer that to Elasticon, as it DOESN'T stick to the hair 
and cause an OUCH coming off.
