Wintec saddles

I've had 3 wintec saddles in the last 10 years and only one has held up
well the entire time and its the one made out of the old neoprene material, I
dont think they even make that one any more and its a shame cause the ones
made from the pleather (plasxtic leather and plastic suede) seem to fall
apart easily. They are also VERY narrow in the regular tree. I never saw
rub marks but, I always worried that it cut in too much at the withers.
I agree with Angie, a good used leather saddle is always a better bargain
and holds up better in the long run, they can be restuffed when needed and if
they are a well known brand you can sell them almost for what you paid for
them. I have a County Despri that has held up through all kinds of changes
and still looks great in the show ring (if I needed it to).
State Line has a thoroughgood saddle (synthetic) for a very good price if you
want to experiment.
Good luck in the search!
