Hi All.  A reminder...

While I have not yet taken the time to personally check out the email
Sandy received and forwarded ("Dear America Online and Instant Message
users, Our America Online staff is planning to take away our Instant
messages by July 14,1999. If you want to keep your Instant Messages free
of charge, send this mail to everyone you know."), I nevertheless would
bet good money that it is another useless, bandwidth eating bunch of
BS.  

Sorry, but the key is "send this mail to everyone you know".  Every
truly official notice about changes in major services is put out
directly by reputable sources - in this case directly from AOL or
Netscape registered users (I am one of the latter & have received
nothing about this).  PLEASE do NOT forward messages of this kind!  Cut
them off before they multiply!  While they might not be viruses, they
are certainly annoying and potentially damaging.  Kind of like the
common cold.
