RE: Backache
Sandy,
After my back surgery two years ago, I asked my doctor whether I should
wear a back support or not. His opinion was that I should NOT use one but
should rely on by muscles to do the job. During rehab we worked on
strengthening those muscles along with the corresponding abs and I can say I
rarely have back pain and if I do it's from muscle fatigue and it's rare.
If it were me I might skip the back brace and work on strengthening the back
and ab muscles so you don't have to depend on a support. In defense of the
support though I have at least two friends who wear them on a regular basis
and seem do like them.
