While incidents in one Region may have prompted this discussion, I believe
it is an important issue that needs to be addressed. I would not like to
see the AERC BOD jump to a quick-fix that required licensing of all vets
working a ride, for example, which could have unintended consequences and
negatively impact rides (like the recent 0-49 LD change), but I must
confess it disturbs me to realize that the current rules enable the AERC
to sanction a ride with *no* licensed vets onsite, is that correct?
Mayhap the situation in one Region is merely bringing to light a flaw in
the rules which has gone unnoticed up to this point.
