I wrote to a few BOD members voicing how I felt on the subject. Perhaps
that would be a good starting point? If we as members tell the BOD that we
want more clarification of what "veterinarian" means in the rulebook, then
they should make it so.
I for one would like to see a veterinarian who is not only licensed, but is
equipped and able (and hopefully experienced) to treat horses should it be
necessary at every sanctioned event. I don't think that is too much to
ask. Granted, most rides don't end up with horses being treated but
accidents happen that aren't even ride related (just ask Rocky!!).
