Re: CTR
Until I have a race-worthy horse, it's CT for Sally and the mustangs...we
don't have our "downhill-faster-than-a-walk without soreness later" solved
yet. Getting there, but will be lots of miles... meanwhile: If you are
riding CT for training or fun, just tolerate the horsemanship judges...some
of the stuff is sound, even useful, but lots is just opinion. Who gives a
hoot? I don't have a NATRC membership, but the rides contribute to my
riding goals--which are not about "points." AND notice the CT folks are
flexing a little with time--the shoe issue, in particular, was a BIG
improvement. As for trailer tying, 'taint for everybody and shouldn't
be...it's just another ritual. But that could change if the water keeps
dropping on the stone!
