You could add things to walk on. Tarps. Wood (think plywood on a hard surface works, but I made a "bridge" that's 4' x 8' out of planks and is 8" off the ground). Someone stored a roll of very thick wire here - it's rubber covered aluminum cable. It is now all unwound and the horses walk through that. Try working with ropes on feet as well - this is great stuff in case you ever get tangled in wire or something on the trail. Have you worked with bicycles? Also people walking with large backpacks (we were riding on a park trail once and a boy scout troop came by - their packs were over their heads and both horses had to stop short and take a good look at that one!). -- ____________ Lif & Paul Strand STRAND ENTERPRISES http://www.fasterhorses.com Internet Research * WebArt * Fine Art Quemado, NM USA =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
