Hope,
A couple of things come to mind. How about an umbrella? I
thought my horse would be afraid, but after I opened it
slowly and he looked at it I could pop it open and put it
over my head and he didn't care at all. Since I ride rain
or shine I figure better safe than sorry.
Today out on a ride I had to pass a man using a weed
whacker. Fortunately a) I was riding with someone else,
and b) after we were close enough to distinguish that it
was a man with a tool neither of the horses were afraid.
Oh, and don't forget the horse eating bicycles. I've got to
work on that one some more!
