Diane Nelson safehavn@fast.net Yes, I'm still looking for that gelding that you wouldn't be ashamed to put your mother on...if your mother is also trained to 2nd level in dressage and has 1000+ competition miles under her belt. Mom is also a big broad who rides solid HW so Mr Right needs to be a solid citizen, more than 15.0H but less than 16 as I'm also not as spry as I used to be. Mom no longer needs to win, just wants to go down the road and get off at the finish line with a smile or do a decent Training/First Level test without major embarassment. Smooth gaits critical as Mom also has a back problem that is aggravated by the wide-behind, jouncy racing trotters out there. Yes, having a pulse is good...as long as it's low and steady. Don't mind - and would prefer - the older fellow who's been there, done that, maybe doesn't want to go as fast or as far as before. For Mr Right...a guaranteed good home for life. Any breed as long as he's built like a bicycle, not a table. Will consider all areas of the country.
