I too just purchased a Bey Shah son. Bey Danzer (Danny) is a big (at
least 15-3 and near 1100#) 11 yr old chestnut gelding. He has been
idle for a year but has 300 AERC miles (all 50's) and 25 LD miles with
the previous owner. I don't think we will top ten, but we'll have fun.
I was told to expect a pretty hot horse as a Bey Shah son, but I've
seen no evidence of it yet. A real mellow guy that will go when
asked. We're just starting long slow distance (again) so I won't have
personal experience until fall. I saw about 4 Bey "somethings" in the
1998 AERC hand book and suspect they are relatives of Danny but am not
     sure.
