Trails in Utah
The Great Western Trail runs all the way through Utah. The southern 250+
miles is the route for the Outlaw Trail Ride. I think there is a map on
Crockett and Sharon's ad on Endurance Net. The Trail also goes north from
Teasdale, Utah.
Also www.utah.com will take you to our Travel Counsel homepage. Right
now there is a featured article on the Pony Express Trail through Utah. It
has a lot of background and history about that trail posted right now.
Remember that much of Utah is owned by the federal government and the BLM,
National Park Service and National Forest Service homepages also contain a
lot of information on Utah trails.
We really do have trails about everywhere in rural Utah. The Utah Division
of Wildlife Resources has some general maps that include trailheads.
Good Luck,
Joane and the Herd
