This is probably the MOST important factor to remember. What works for one
horse beautifully may not appeal to the next horse at all!! (Which is
probably why one student announced yesterday..."WOW...you have a LOT of
bits!!!" My answer? "I've had a lot of horses...and I had a few years in
my "horse career" where I functioned on bad or mis-information from
supposedly knowledgeable horse trainers. I own several bits that I keep
primarily to demonstrate *what* they are and *why* they are so awful!!
