Not quite that simple. It tells you that there is more stress to the lower
leg than the return subcutaneous circulation can handle. Nothing more,
nothing less. Some horses have more natural capability than others in this
regard. Conditioning helps, but isn't the only piece in the puzzle. You can
also get it with OVER conditioning as well as from overriding.
