one-eyed endurance horse

Dabney,
A friend of mine rides a grade Arab who has been blind in one eye for
several years and completely without the eye for the last couple.  It's
never bothered him and he's got over 4000 miles of both CTR and
endurance, at least half of which were logged without sight in that
eye.  The rider's vision isn't the greatest and they do fine!  It
depepnds on the horse, however; if they've adapted well to it and have
developed trust in you, that will be enough to get you both through, I
believe.
